TRYOUTS

Club Requirements

​

• Gym access is for active Cal Boxing members only.

• Tryouts are required for consideration to join Cal Boxing Club. EVERYONE has to tryout every semester.

• If selected, members must pay for Cal Boxing Club semester dues, USA Boxing annual registration, and their own gear.

• Cal Boxing Club is sanctioned by USA Boxing and rule 1.1 states: “All participating members, boxers, coaches, officials, physicians, must be members of USA Boxing, to participate in USA Boxing activities, which is not limited to club workouts, sparring sessions and competitions.”​

• All club members must be registered with USA Boxing under the National Collegiate Boxing Association (NCBA)

• All club members are required to have an active USA Boxing Passbook.

• THERE IS NO GYM ACCESS, TRAINING, OR SPARRING WITHOUT CURRENT: (1) CLUB MEMBERSHIP/DUES (2) USA BOXING REGISTRATION/DUES, AND (3) USA BOXING PASSBOOK - NO EXCEPTIONS. If applicable, additional club requirements must also be met.​​
